Faringdon Lodge Residential Care Home is situated in Romford, Essex.

It is registered with C.Q.C for 28 permanent residents, and also offers day care facilities for a small number of local clients.

All clients in Faringdon Lodge  have a diagnosis of Dementia.

The fees at Faringdon Lodge are dependent on the type of room required. Fees  currently start from £540 per week.

These fees are all inclusive, however, additional funds are required for the weekly hairdresser and the Chiropodist. Spending money may be required for the individual should they require personal items.

Fees also depend on the level of care that is needed. Should a client require high dependency care within a residential environment, then fees may be adjusted to accommodate their needs, and enable extra staffing levels.

The Manager is always available to show prospective clients around the Home and discuss and questions or concerns they may have.

All meals are cooked on the premises, and there is always a choice available. Meal times are flexible to suit the needs of the residents.

Snacks and hot drinks are available during the day and night. Menus are changed regularly and residents are encouraged to participate in menu planning.

Prospective new residents are invited to visit Faringdon Lodge, usually between the hours of 9 a.m to 5 p.m. This enables the manager to carry out a full assessment to ensure that we can meet the needs of the resident.

It also ensures that the resident is correctly placed in the right care home for them. A four to six week trial period follows admission before the placement is made permanent.

Regular activities and outings take place at Faringdon Lodge, including trips to the theatre and sea side, shopping trips to the local market, lunch at a nearby restaurant and monthly coffee mornings.
